Hanuman Janmotsav (also known as Hanuman Jayanti) is a sacred Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Hanuman, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism. 1. Temple Visits
Devotees visit Hanuman temples early in the morning. Idols of Lord Hanuman are beautifully decorated with flowers, sindoor (vermilion), and garlands.

2. Chanting and Prayers
Reciting the Hanuman Chalisa, Sundar Kand, and other devotional hymns is a major part of the celebration. Many temples organize continuous chanting and bhajan programs.

3. Fasting
Many devotees observe a fast throughout the day and break it after offering prayers to Lord Hanuman.
